I started taking the Glucophage XR Late January...I hated it...it made me sick and I felt horrible. Then I stopped taking it mid Feb (because I was on the pill while waiting for surgery) until the weekend after my surgery (late March). When I started taking it again...at 500mgs I was getting sick...and decided to still advance to 1000mgs. Then I stopped it for 2 days and started back at 500mgs...now I am back at 1000mgs and feeling fine. I don't know why...maybe it was mental...or maybe my body was just not liking it combined with the pill... Thanks again!
