hiya guys.. Ive got a question......ok,firstly let me fill u in the whole story.. in december I was assaulted and consequently bled for 35 days then 14 days later i bled again for 5 days.. since then,nothing! since early february Ive been on metformin (finally) firstly 500mg a day then now I am on 1000mg daily as well as another drug that apparently helps the insulin be 'used' better by my body called 'minidiab'.. anyway,I had intercourse on March 8th and thus far I havent seen my period..... can anyone tell me if the metformin plays with cycles when you first start taking it? I took a urine pregnancy test around 13 days after intercourse (cause my period was due) and it was negative... but yea.. its now april 10 and still NO period... does anyone think I should take another test now to make sure? or as I said,does metformin does this when you first take it-stuff up the cycle.. the last 3-4 days ive not felt so good,ive had nausea, a couple of low-sugar attacks and felt achy all over,are these side effects from the higher dose? i want to try for a baby later this year,thats why Im taking metformin etc now.. so my body is ready.. any advice would help lots thanks!
