Hi everyone

As I am sure many of you are very well aware, Hirsutism is a big problem for a lot of PCOS sufferers. Excess hair can have a huge affect on a woman's self esteem and this is a very sensitive issue that often gets dismissed or handled insensitively. Laser and IPL treatment can have remarkable results, but unfortunately it is currently almost impossible to get this treatment on the NHS.

I am one of a group of women with PCOS who are trying to campaign to get laser/IPL treatment offered on the NHS countrywide (at present this treatment is only offered in a handful of areas in the UK). If anyone is interested in supporting this campaign, please visit the PCOS Equality campaign website http://www.pcos-equality.org.uk and follow the link to the petition.

(You do not need to suffer from PCOS to sign the petition, any signatures will be appreciated!)

Thanks very much for reading.
