I had the opposite repsonse to bcp's, go figure, BUT... I am currently pg and have read in several places that women who are pg often suffer from very bad insomnia, not just because it's hard to get comfortable but because of extra progesterone. Since bcp's contain progesterone, I imagine this would be the case there too. Worth thinking about at least! I know how horrible insomnia is, you've got my good wishes that you can find a way of getting through it soon.
