Monthly Cycle, Conceived immediately, fetal demise in 5th month, insulin resistance

Hello ALL,

I was recently diagnosed with PCOS due to having some mild symptoms. Was able to conceive immediately but lost the pregnancy in 2nd trimester.

Endo says I need to lose 40 pounds of weight, currently at 140. I have severe insulin resistance and now on Metformin (500mg, 3 times a day) to regulate sugar levels before trying to get pregnant again.

Once I lose weight though Metformin/Diet/Exercise, I hope to control it and get off Metformin. I would like to know fellow PCOS-ers thoughts on that. Have been on low-carb diet for last 8 months.

Thank you and awaiting responses.
