Adoption From: Leigh (anonymous@obgyn.net) Thu, 10 Apr 2003 10:25:27 -0500 Messages sorted by: [ date ][ thread ][ subject ][ author ] Next message: Carol: "Re: help me please" Previous message: Carol: "Re: Babies: All a little too much today" I was at home yesterday, sick with some kind of stomach thing....(Have been having a lot of problems with my stomach the past few months.)  Anyway, I watched TLC most of the day and the baby stories are always really neat, but yesterdays was really heart warming.  This couple had tried IVF as both of her tubes were blocked.  After several tries, they decided it was too much heartbreak and they decided to look at adoption.  They adopted a little girl from here in the US and then another from Russia.  All about the same time.  After the girls were 5 or 6, knowing that they still had some embryos frozen, they decided what the heck and went through another IVF.   It worked!! They got pg with twins and had a boy and a girl.    It was such a good story to watch.  Of course I was bawling by the time it was over.  Just had to post that.  I thought it was inspirational!!!
