I had actually started taking the Glucophage XR back in Feburary. I started each does a week at a time. I actually made it all the way up to 1500mgs, but was miserable. In March I started taking BCP to regulate my period for my Laperoscopy. Since I was taking the pill, I stopped the Glucophage about 4 weeks ago. After my surgery, March 24th, the following Saturday, I started taking the Glucophage again. I went 1 week at 500mgs and started the second week at 1000mgs, and last night, I didnot take it at all.

Tonight I am gonna go a back to the 500mgs and stay there for another week.

And I am going to take your suggestion and start breaking up the dosage.
