The only thing you really want to stay away from in bcp is "triphasic" birth control pills, or ones that have three different colored pills / hormone levels every month. There is some evidence that this kind of bcp can actually make PCOS worse instead of helping manage your symptoms.

Lots of women here have taken Daine 35 / Yasmin, some with great results and some with not so good. Progetserone only pills can be useful. Personally I was on Orthocyclen for 2 years and liked it. It's a matter of finding one that works well with your body. There are dozens of pills out there, keep trying them until you find one you feel good on!
