I have been on about 6 different types of BC pills. (My old dr. didsnt diagnose me with PCOS and kept changing them every time my period would stop for periods of time.) My favorite was Lunelle because I didnt have to worry about taking a pill every day.(It was an injection I would get every 28 days. She wouldnt put me on the 3 month injection because she said it would mess me up even more.) Now I am on ovcon and this actually seems to be making it easier to lose weight. (I have lost about 30 lbs in the last 6 months or so.) the first few years of BC pills were to control the periods. Now it is for both reasons I guess (Was told I didnt even ovulate most of the time, so....I guess it is mostly for regulating stuff.) I have never had any BC pills to make my stomach hurt, but my husband says that I have very bad mood swings, so I am not sure what that is from. The only thing that bothers me is that the cramps are getting worse. Has anyone found anything to ease the pain? I have a prescription, but dont like to use it unless I have to. I had some labs done a few weeks ago and the nurse called today and told me to make an appt in 2 weeks, but didnt tell me why. I hate when they do that....Now it is going to drive me crazy not knowing why he wants to talk to me. I am glad that I "stumbled" on this site. Any time I have a question, it usually gets answered pretty fast. Thank you ladies. I didnt realize how many people had PCOS.
