I hadn't gotten my period in a year or so (see archives for my story with Provera, etc.) My RE told me that that it was one of the better BCPs for PCOS...It is supposed to cause less bloating...which has been true for me...also, I haven't experienced any bleeding problems, spotting or anything out of the ordinary.
