Hi there
I also live in North London and am not having much luck with my GP or
the hospital. I have been looking at other options but am going to wait
until I have my next appt in June. Two thing I have been looking
into... the Dr Foster website is great it has PCOS listed and will
bring you up several people who specialise in London who you can see
privately, and without a referral, most charge about £100-£130 and can
see you within a couple of weeks. The other thing I have been looking
into is having a hormone test done, its not a blood test, its done by
saliva over the 28 day cycle have a look at http://www.marilynglenville.com
also in London can do this test along with mineral deficiancy tests. If
I have no luck from the Dr's this time I think I might try this, a bit
pricy but at least you will get a true picture of how things are.
Good luck
Angie
