Hi, a dermatologist prescribed me Cephalexin for acne, and after being on it for one day I had one of the worst bouts of carb cravings I have experienced in a long time. Does anyone know if antibiotic usage lowers metformin effectiveness? It is also my birth control pill placebo week, so that may have something to do with it. Just trying to figure things out. The carb cravings scared me because I have been doing so well on my diet--have been very disciplined and lost 19 1/2 pounds so far. I blew it last night and don't want to blow it again.
