Hi , i have tried proactiv and even though it does dry out my skin it has done really good. I do get the flakes but thats because i have sensitive skin. My problem area was my chin and i have oily skin so now with using proactiv it doesn't get greasy and i don't have to worry about getting a new zit. I have been using it for only about 2 weeks and i already love it . Beleive me i have tried everything (my mom is so sick of me asking for more stuff for my face) but i really do beleive this helps alot . I only have like mabey 4 zits (but that was from my period) so i hope it works for you all out there becasue beleive i know it sucks so bad to have acne but proactiv can help that!!!!
