Ladies,

You'll never just sit back and relax! Have had two babies - second was invitro. Even with age (38), IVF, PCOS, hypothyroid, there was not a lot of monitoring, mostly monthly checkups to hear heart and get measured. Had 3 u/s - one to see how many babies (just one! phew), one at about 8 weeks to check ovarian cysts (had about a dozen because of fertility drugs) and one at 18 weeks. And only 2 blood tests at about 13 and 15 days post transfer. Am glad they didn't do more blood tests. Would have given me even more to worry about!

But back to the relaxing. You'll worry right up until you hold that beautiful, messy baby in your arms. Then you'll realize that they're harder to take care of!! You'll worry when they sleep and check on them often (of course, that's mostly an excuse to look at your beautiful baby). You'll worry when they ride a bike, drive a car, date (oh heaven forbid). Etc. So ladies, enjoy the worrying, enjoy the pregnancy, and enjoy your babies. I am always so excited to hear about women who are pregnant after years of trying! Congrats to both of you (and the rest of you pg PCOSers)!
