Just a real quick note about my lab results and ultrasounds.....

Looks like all my hormone levels were normal (as far as estrogen, testosterone, etc).... There were some problems that showed up on my Lipid Profile and Metabolic Profile, but will go into that later...cholesterol was high but not terribly so... thyroid is fine, fasting insulin came back fine...

As for my ultrasounds.. turns out that there aren't kidney stones (at least not that they actually saw)... but my kidney is still moderately enlarged.. this is called hydronephrosis... have a referal to go see a urologist to find out why it is enlarged... my white blood cell count was up to 15.4 (high), Polys were 11.1 (high), BUN / Creatinine at 11 (low), and Carbon Dioxide was low at 19... I suspect these are all related to the kidney... but my doctor didn't even bring these last ones up... so maybe isn't that concerned?

And, the one that is not off topic... my uterus and right ovary were fine.... but they did find a 2.2 cm cyst in my left ovary... which is about the size of the ovary itself... CA125 ovarian cancer marker was well within normal ranges (@ 8.6), tho, so I think I will put dealing with this one off until we figure out what is wrong with the kidney... that seems to be the major issue of concern at this point... :( God I hate these kinds of surprises.....

My doctor did prescribe me an anti-anxiety medication.... He decided on Xanax... just took a dose and am about ready to head off to bed after being up 20 hours... it has been a physically and emotionally exhausting day... :( hard not to get scared...
