Can you just go in little steps, instead of totally avoiding ALL carbs? Like just cut out refined sugars (soda, candy, etc.) and maybe choose whole grain pastas, breads, etc. That might be enough to make a difference! If you have a health food grocery/store (or even a high end grocery) near you they'll certainly sell whole grain pasta. Try brown rice too. I'm not sure what to tell you about the potatoes!! It helps to eat your carbs well balanced with plenty of protein (never snack on them on their own) and eating a moderate amount of good fat (like from fish oils, avocado, and olive oil) seems to help too. Give that a try and see if it helps, and if it's enough to keep your PCOS under control.
