Newly diagnosed w/PCOS - scared

I received my blood test results from my GYN this week and he says I have PCOS. I'm 28. DH and I have been married several years, decided to start trying for a baby. I went off bc pills at the beginning of the year, and called my GYN when I hadn't had a period by the end of Feb. I'm thankful for him because he didn't blow me off but instead got me in to see him right away before he went on vacation. He mentioned PCOS during that first appt. and had me do blood tests immediately. I go to see him this coming week to figure out the course of action, and I also have an appt. with an RE for a second opinion. It's ironic that for so long DH and I didn't have a strong desire for kids and now that we do, here we are...I'm really scared that I might not ever be able to have them. Thanks for listening.
