Sorry to hear how bad things are - please don't give up (i know how difficult it can be to get anyone to listen - let alone any help!) I too take metforming, which has helped with my weight loss - but only inconjunction with diet & exercise - which we all know is easier said than done.

I had no luck with a Gynaecologist, it was an Endrocrinologist I see who is fab - I do very fortunately already have my family - so infertility is not an issue for me. I found that once I had lost some weight - the god damn awful periods were much better. It definately helps to lose some weight. have you tried a low carb diet. slimming world is really good, but you need to stick to "red/original days" really good when you get your head round it + you can eat as much as you like!!!! Good Luck
