I was just diagnosed last week and had a follow-up with my dr yesterday and also left in tears and with a prescription for bc pills only. Never had my hormone levels tested. To sum up what my dr said, "I can't do any more to help you until you get insurance." So basically I just sit and suffer and hope this doesn't play havoc on my health in other ways, too. I feel pretty helpless and hopeless right now. I understand where you are coming from.
