Re: Still no period after taking Provera

If you search the archives under my name, you will see that I experienced the same thing. Two years ago, I got my period right after taking the dosage of a week. A year ago, I got my period ONE MONTH after taking the Provera...In September, I didn't get it at all after the Provera. My doctor just did an endometrial biopsy to check my lining, etc. which turned out to be doing okay. I decided to start on BCPs since I basically stopped getting my period after a couple of years of getting it while on Glucophage, now I've gotten it 4 months in a row on Yasmin with no side effects.

I'm not much help because it was several years ago but I took provera and I didn't get a period.  I can't remember exactly what my doctor did.  I remember feeling like I was going to start but I never did. Try not to worry; your doctor will call back.
