I wish I could delete the following but I can't. I'm such a nit wit, I don't know why I misunderstood the original post... I thought you meant, if you haven't missed a period YET, will the test be accurate. I guess you meant, if you're having periods but think you're pregnant, will the test be accurate?

If you are pregnant, the test should be accurate, no matter what your menstrual status. There are women who have bits of bleeding when they should be having a period even though they are pregnant, so it is possible.

Are you having any symptoms that might make you think you're pregnant? I think it's fairly rare for that to occur, so if you're having periods, you're PROBABLY ok.
