In reply to: Eija: "Re: question about mucus (sorry!)" the eggwhite mucus is a very good sign that you're fertile. if you'd like to get pregnant it's the best kind and almost always coincides with ovulation, which is always great to see for pcosers. i have done Fertily Awareness Method (to avoid pregnancy) for a while. this requires charting BBT and other fertility signs such as cerival fluid and position. it can be a little overwhelming at first, like you said, but i would encourage any and all women, especially those with pcos, to consider it. i have found ti very empowering and also kind of fun. remembering to do your charting is, to me, so easy and its a very good way to tell when you're fertile if you'd like to get pregnant.
