Well... guess only so much good news in one day is allowed

Went into the doc for just a urine test, came back negative. This is the second time i have gotten a false positive on an hpt in 4 months... not having fun. The last time i ended up in the ER thinking i was miscarring, though they claim i wasnt.. But thats another story for another time.

I asked the nurse how long should i wait before i test again, and she said there was no need, The test was negative and i should start soon. I am on day 41. The thing is, they want me to start progesterone if i dont cycle in 2 months.. and I really dont want to do that if there is the possiblity i could be pregnant. Maybe i am just grasping at straws here.. but i want to be sure, completely sure. And they won't do a blood test right now so that i can be sure.

Any advice on this would be greatful. How many of you have had a false positive hpt? or maybe even a false negative urine at the docs? I'm not saying that mine is false negative, just want to be sure.

Thanks ValeriGail
