Hi everyone, Recently diagnosed with PCOS. Just getting over the initial shock and reality is setting in. The doctor basically told me I was infertile and at a higher risk of diabetes and cancer. When I attempted to ask him questions he became irritated and indicated that he had to move on to his next patient. Needless to say I have requested another doctor. Thankfully, I was able to find this site. I felt both scared and comforted as I read your stories through teary eyes. It would really help me to find someone local who I could correspond with and find out about resources, although I would welcome correspondence from others as well. It's nice to know I'm not alone although I wouldn't wish this on anyone. My thoughts are with you all and again I thank you for helping me through this confusing and difficult time.
