Re: Diagnosed with PCOS! Is it really PCOS?

Before I started being treated for hypothyroidism, I would diet and not lose a pound--even gained 3 pound at one point. After I started taking Synthroid, I went back to dieting and the weight started to come off. Then I started taking the Metformin and I am amazed! The Metformin keeps my insulin levels normal so I do not have severe cravings and this makes the diet a breeze compared to before Metformin. I have lost 23 pounds since in about 8 weeks.
