Dear Amanda:

I suggest that you see an endocrinologist and get a copy of Colette Harris' PCOS Dietbook. AS you are still very young, maybe you would be able to control the PCOS symptoms through lifestyle changes alone. Make the medication as a last resort for you.

I hope this helps. Do not despair. You are in a much better position now as compared to some us at your age many, many years back due to research and forums such as this.
