Hello to all! I have been on a very lonely search for answers regarding if I do or don't have PCOS. I have been to 4 different specialists who are assuming I have it. I am one who needs some facts. I have been searching because I have so many unexplainable symptoms. The Doctors don't seem to care and brush it off. I have been told that I have the Syndome?? I don't have any blood work or ultrasound findings to confirm I have it. This week I am getting a Glucose Tolerance test as a last test. They suggest putting me on different meds and I refuse unless I have evidence(any) that I have it! I was also just told on Friday that because I am 39 and want a child that I should get pregnant now, and at my very heavy weight of 300 lbs!!! She told me that it out weights the risk of having a child after 40. I was never so confused in all of my life. I went in to see this Dr. because I haven't been well and I told her she was nuts for suggesting it! I am on spin right now and don't know where to turn because I haven't much faith in Dr's. Thank God for my husband that would not believe what I've been through unless he'd seen it for himself. Please, if you have any suggestions for me.............I could use the support! I live in Mississauga, Ontario if there are any decent resources around here that I've missed??? Thanks so much xoxoxo Jane
