I too started the drug about a week ago to help with PCOS. I haven't been on it long enough yet to be real sure that it is helping me lose weight but I know that I feel a lot better. As for the gastric side effects, I am not finding it too bad. It isn't like I get uncontrollable diarrhea or cramps. It is more like a sense of urgency about once a day, but only minor. If this indeed helps me achieve my weight loss and pregnancy achievement it was a very small price to pay. I will keep you posted on my results.
