I can't see any real reason behind anything he is suggesting either.... Glucophage is very important for all women with PCOS, even when not TTC, to protect against more serious illness in the future and control symptoms. So he's wrong there. And isn't Orthocyclen + Spiro basically the same thing as Yasmin, in a slightly different dose? If it ain't broke.... I can't see why he would want you to do these things. Get a second opinion, I would think. Not even RE's always know everything :)
