PCOS-Chronic Pelvic PainFrom: anonymous (anonymous@obgyn.net)Sat, 1 Mar 2003 14:08:56 -0600 (CST)
Will someone help. 5 months ago I was diagonised with PCOS. This conculsion came after a trip the ER because I was in some pain. The ultrasound showed that there was a small cyst on the right ovary. Every since then the closer time it gets to me period, my side hurts so bad I feel like going back to the ER. The doctors have put my pain mediciation. That does not even seem to help. I married and have two small children. I feel like this sitution has robbed them of me. One doctor has suggested that I have an ovary removed or a complete historectomy. However, I don't thinks my husband or I are ready for that yet. In way we would like to have one more child but we are not sure. Can somebody give a suggestoion or advice on what to do about the pain.
