Jacqui, in my opinion I would not take the pill. If what you are currently doing is helping you, you should stay with it. Remember the pill has hormones that affect your body, thus having the potential of throwing your balances off again. Try for a few more months, keep a diary of events, i.e. when you start and when you stop your period. Go back to the doctor with that information and see what he/she says.
