Terrie, Find out what your insulin level is. If it is above 5.5, then you are insulin resistant, and the Glucophage might help to lower that. If it is lower than that then you should NOT take Glucophage. Just remember that it is your body, not the doctor's, and you need to make sure you should be taking what he perscribes. Doctors can make mistakes. Mine put me on Glucophage when I shouldn't have been. I have found a product that has helped me a lot without any of the dangerous side effects that Glucophage has.
