I had a laparoscopy amonth ago. As far as I know there aren't any negative results from it - other than being sore for a couple of weeks. The purpose for doing it was to check that there was nothing else as well as the PCOS for example Endometriosis or blocked tubes. If you are wanting to concieve it is worth doing just to be sure there isn't anything else as well. Also my OB Gyn told me that sometimes your cycle can re-establish itself after this operation. If you want to ask me anything feel free to e-mail me.
