Hi Sarah, why isn't it okay to do the Atkins diet? I think NO carb is bad, but LOW carb is great. Does your doc. have you on any med's ? If not, ask to be put on metformin, take charge of your own health, many doctors have no clue about PCOS, you have to show them. Bring them in information, print some stuff off the computer, if all else fails, find a new doc. Ask to be refered to an endo and see if they know more. Good luck ! Bonnie
