Previous message: Randi: "Local News Channel talking about PCOS..." Hello all! I have been on Glucophage XR 2000 mg/day for close to a year for PCOS and the results have been amazing. I have had regular periods for at least the last 6 months, and for the first time in my life have been coming like clockwork...but last month, I had a second period that started on the 17th day of my cycle and lasted as long as a normal period would and was very heavy (instead of being light or just spotting). Then when my period was supposed to come again this month, it did, right on time...but then AGAIN this month I had another start on the 16th day. Why am I having 2 periods a month??? I am confused about this. I have gone from never having any, to having 2 a month. Has anyone ever experienced this, or know WHY this is happening? Any and all help is much welcomed and appriciated.
