I have always had a period, never missed one. But I don't think I ovulate. I talked to my doctor and he thinks that's odd, never got an answer about that. All woman that I know who have PCOS don't have a period. I must say that I like having a period because that's one less headache of infertility that I have regarding PCOS, I do have everything else that involves PCOS....Good luck too you
