Hi Amy ! Welcome a board ! I'm glad you found us. I don't think your
first appointment will be a fasting one so be sure to tell the new doc.
about your concerns, they certainly don't want you passing out just to
do a test. I'm sure they will come up with some solution so you can
still get some sort of test and a proper diagnosis. I don't have kids,
but I do hear ya about the trying to be feminine, it's very hard and
embarrassing, but we're here for you, we understand. Come visit us
often and don't be afraid to ask us anything. If you don't get an
answer right away, don't worry and please don't take it personally,
sometimes we get busy and other times, we just don't know the answer.
