Hi Calla! You definitely have my sympathies! I just went this past week and had my bloodwork and u/s done. My dr appt isn't until the end of March although I'm hoping to get it moved up. The thought of having to wait a month for the results is driving me crazy.

1. My symptoms are light also. I'm lucky enough to be releasing eggs on my own though. (my u/s showed this). My DH and I have been TTC 1+ yr. I've had the few neck and chest hairs for about 2 yrs about the same time my hair started to thin (mine has always been very thick) I'm 30 yrs old and have gained 90+ lbs over the last 10yrs, (over 60 lbs of it in the last 5 yrs). I' also 5'2". Acne has only been a problem in the past 3 months. 2. My periods always were regular but now (since I had my youngest son, 6 yrs old)they can run from 26 to 32 days. The pain is bad enough that I often take Tylenol with codeine to get thru them. 3.Mood swings, what mood swings??! Oh my! They really were very very bad! Even worse when on the pill. This is something that had been much better with time I think. Now, I get depressed and cry with every AF. I think stress really exaggerates this. 4. As to PCOS getting worse with pregnancy, I really don't know. I hope someone can answer this for you as I'd like to know too. 5. I'm hoping my dr puts me on something soon. I'd love to lose some weight, but he's recommended finishing having babies then lose the weight and have the surgeries I want. I'm not sure if this is the way to go, but I'm trying to walk daily and see what else I can do.

I've been looking for information on low carbohydrate diets. From what I understand PCOS means we over produce insulin. Carbohydrates have a direct correspondance with PCOS and weight (that's how I understand it, let me know if I'm wrong). Exercise and proper diet are said to help with PCOS symptoms but can't cure it. Everyone here has been absolutely wonderful. They have loads of sympathy, are fountains of knowledge and have a terrific spirit!

Sorry this was so long, :< Lots of baby dust to all!
