Thanks Sally, Clara, Carlene and Sonnet for your advice. Do you all think that if I were to get the 5- or 6-hour IGTT that I should be off the glucophage, or stay on it so they can see how the glucophage is actually doing? If the glucophage were not working, does that mean I need to add another medicine? I'm scared to do that because I've heard the other ones make you gain weight. What are you going to do, Sally? Are you going to add another medicine since you said the effects of the glucophage are declining in you? Also, for those of you who do monitor your blood sugar at home, could I get any recommendations on good glucometers to get? I'm hoping there are good ones that are under $50. Are those the ones you use? Thanks again, Jessica
