Shelly, I don't know where you live, but I would look into a community health center. I know here we have one that you pay $10. flat and that covers the exam, tests, and they give you a number where you can get cheap or free medications. If you have access to a computer I would start looking on the web for that. They are really helpful, and they don't send you away if you happen to make over poverty level!

I don't know about the clots. I have them on most days through my menses but I flow pretty normal. I did have a few cycles where I bled a lot for two days, but not for 14. If there is a community hospital around also, I might go to the ER there. They can arrange payments, or even write your services off if you don't have money. I have been without health insurance and couldn't afford to go to the doctor. These type of services are really great!!

Good luck, I hope you get to a doctor!! Amber
