This happened to me last year...before I was diagnosed, I used to get my periods every 50-60 days or so...once in a blue moon, I'd get it in the 30 day range. Anyway, last year after being on Gluc for a year and a half or so, I stopped getting my periods like I had been. I got it in Dec 2001, then nothing until the end of April 2002 (I had taken Provera in March)...then in Sept 2002 I took provera again since I hadn't gotten my period since april....this time the provera didn't work. had an endo biopsy...lining was okay. I started BCP (Yasmin) and got my period the next month. I've gotten it monthly since. I also just switched to the XR again. I tried it last year too when I stoppped getting my periods, but went back to the regular version. So far, I like the XR. I haven't had any bloodwork done while on it yet.

I have been on Glucophage for about 6-7 months now, and it lowered my insulin levels, but that was it.  My periods went from 28-35 days, but they were I guess "regular" compared to others.  This laste cycle was 50 days long, and I was also wondering if the glucophage had stopped working.  Thank goodness I am going to the RE tuesday!!!
