Re: Any successful PCO pregnancy's???From: kelly (anonymous@obgyn.net)Fri, 7 Feb 2003 07:56:38 -0600 (CST)
Hi! I was diagnosed with PCOS in April 2002 and was put on Glucophage and a high dose of the birth control pill. My periods were quick to respond and I became regular for the first time in over 3 years. My husband and I wanted to have another baby (we have a 3 year old) and were unsure if we would be able to. I was not diagnosed until my son was 3 (never had any problems prior to my first pregnancy). The first month I stopped taking the pill I became pregnant. I continued taking the Glusophage until I knew I was pregnant. Now, I am 4 months pregnant and due in July 2003. I'm not sure of your situation. A potential problem with me was the fact that my periods were very irregular. Once I became regular, I had no problem getting pregnant. Good luck to you and best wishes.
