My blood tests, past and present, have never come up with right numbers to prove insulin resistance, yet I knew I had it due to all my symptoms (and pcos). Glucophage was an amazing help, and I now have it all under control. Rather than going by my blood test results to the exact number, I go by how I feel and symptoms and results to determine dosage and needs.
