Yes, I have been using guaifenesin (referenced that in my first message http://forums.obgyn.net/pcos/PCOS.0212/0407.html .) Also using baby ASA, just in case some clotting abnormality is causing early undiagnosed m/c. I do two IUIs per cycle, with hCG trigger shots to ensure ovulation, and have had day 21 progesterone levels and BBT charts that seem to "confirm" ovulation. I do a serum beta-hCG each month rather than urine testing, since PCOS can cause low levels of hCG at first. And once I've had my day 21 progesterone drawn, I use progesterone suppositories 50 mg BID, just in case, even though my BBTs don't seem to indicate a luteal phase defect, and the blood prog. levels are usually OK. Since I have yet to have a positive serum beta-hCG, I am assuming I am simply not fertilizing, or not implanting. Oddly enough, my CM has actually looked/stretched better each month on Clomid, rather than getting progressively worse like expected. I have not had another PCT to check if this better texture actually translates into an easier time for the sperm, but since we are supposedly taking that factor out of the equation with the IUI, I haven't asked to check. We also BD every other day once my period stops, and BD 1-3 extra times per day after the 2nd IUI each month, until my temps and CM seem to indicate ovulation is long past. I just can't imagine what else to do at this point, except maybe begin injectibles. But since I seem to be making plenty of good follicles on Clomid, I question whether or not injectibles will overcome the as yet undetermined problem with conception. If I'm not implanting, or implanting and then rejecting, it would seem that injectibles, IVF, ICSI, etc. would not make one bit of difference. I seem to be entering the realm of "unexplained infertility," even though on paper, I look like a simple case of PCOS. I also want to thank you for your wonderful website, and all the time and effort you must have put into it, collecting all those resources. There was a comment recently that implied you are anti-herbal/OTC, but I do not get that impression at all. We should all learn to evaluate the data out there with a critical eye, and IMHO it is always good to see someone else who has a healthy skepticism about unproven remedies. Especially progesterone cream--skin absorption is iffy, and most of the drug just gets metabolized by the skin's 5-alpha-reductase anyway, so how much actually gets into the bloodstream from the skin is very questionable. Oral and intravaginal administration are another matter entirely, and I'm not sure all women realize that. Thanks again Cassandra
