Miss,

I have the same problem. We've been trying for over a year, and are supposedly one of the "younger" couples in the practice. Began metformin almost three years ago, with good results, even a few cycles of spontaneous ovulation based on BBTs. Now on 4th month of Clomid; three of these cycles have also included IUI. DH's semen analyses have all been good, and the nurses comment on how great the numbers are at each insemination. My HSG was perfect, and I have no other known issues besides PCOS (very extensive workups over the years to r/o other endocrine disorders, etc.) The consensus was the only thing preventing pregnancy was my hostile cervical mucus, based on post-coital testing. My endometrial stripe is always thick enough, with a triple line pattern. I have had 2-4 follicles each medicated cycle, all good sizes.

Yet, still no pregnancies. I keep being told that it will happen, chances are good, etc., but I am losing hope. I actually posted a question much like yours a while back ( http://forums.obgyn.net/pcos/PCOS.0212/0407.html ,) wondering if I should try another RE, but did not receive any responses.

I don't have any ideas, either, but wish you luck.

Cassandra
