Re: Gastric Bypass Surgery???

I just went to a seminar (last week) on Gastric Bypass Surgery and I asked the same question about getting pregnant after the surgery. I am 33 and not married/looking to have children right now.. The doctor told me that he suggests not getting pregnant during the first 6-9 months, not "at least one year." I agree that getting pregnant that close to surgery is probably not the best idea, but I just wanted to pass that along...since that reply was written 6 months ago, maybe this doctor had more updated info.
