My Doc just made me start taking glucophage xr and started me off at 500mg a day and work my way up to 2000mg a day. But I take them all at once. Maybe I need to call her to see if I am taking them right. But I am losing weight rapidly. I am only up to 1000mg a day been on it for 2 weeks and have lost 9lbs. I don't have much of an appetite either tho. I dunno. My sugar is already better tho. It wasn't too high when I was tested but boderline. and i was putting on a lot of weight rather quickly. This is a wonderful med so far. I just hope it keeps on working. Peyton~
