Sonnet: Hi. Congratulations on your pregnancy. I read your latest update where you said you'd actually lost 13lbs. in the last 10 weeks...I got pregnant with my son in March '99 and gave birth to a healthy normal baby in December '99 (of course, all this was before I suspected PCOS)...I too lost weight in my 1st & 2nd trimesters. I was overweight when I got pregnant (5'5" and 185 lbs.) and my doc said as long as the baby was growing normally, there was no problem! I only gained 5 lbs. throughout the whole pregnancy, and by the time I lost all the water weight, etc. from the pregnancy, I could actually fit into clothes I hadn't worn in several years. Unfortunately, that only lasted a couple months and then all the weight came back, and brought friends! LOL Now trying to conceive again, and have discovered this PCOS "thing". No official diagnosis yet as we're in the process of changing insurance companies and I don't want any "pre-existing condition" limitations placed on future treatments. Anyway, best of luck to you and your (expanding) family!
