Frustrated!! Same old story!

I am just so frustrated with my doctor! I have been having very bad headaches the last three months, and after a negative head CT my doc sent me to an Ear nose and throat specialist. I was put on steroids to try and open my nasal passages, and when that didn't work, he put me on migrane meds. There have been other people here who have complained of headache while on Met, so I called my doc and asked her about it. The response was not what I thought it would be. She said that headaches weren't associated with Met, at least as she has heard, and none of her patients have ever had them before on Met. Then the subject was changed to my weight, and the fact that I haven't been able to lose yet, my diet, (on the sugarbusters diet), and all that. When I asked to try something else, I was told that nothing else really was effective, but there were some that might help. I still have major sugar cravings and weight gain. It seems all she see's is the fat. I love my doc when it comes to little things, and I was told that my GYN who I love so dearly doesn't deal with the medication part of PCOS, so I am a loss. I asked about going to an Endo, but I was told that he would only do the same thing that my doc is doing now!!! Where do I go from here. I haven't seen any changes on the 500/day Met, except that my insulin levels are down, and I can't seem to get passed the weight thing with my doc, does anyone have any advice!! I am so frustrated!!!!!! I am really glad that I found this site, everybody is just so helpful, and it eases my mind to know that other people are going through what I am. Thanks all!!! Amber
