A good book to read about the vulva and the things that can go wrong in that area is The V Book by Dr. Elizabeth G Stewart and Paula Spencer. I just got it recently and it's fantastic. I do have hairs that also go down in to the part of my vulva where the labia minora (the lips closest to the vaginal opening) is. At first I thought it was strange. Some women will grow more hair on their pubic areas than others but what is considered a normal amount and which is not that might be related to PCOS is hard to say. What I can say though is that when I first went on the Spironolactone (I was on the brand name of it) I discovered that the amount of hair that I grew each month there was reduced a lot. ===== Kristy :) http://www.geocities.com/sokokl/kristyspersonalpage.html For women who are interested in additional support http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Endo_Vulvodynia_PCOS/ http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Zoladexforendometriosis/ I am a Medical Secretary who does a lot of learning from reading on the Net, books, my dr(s), as well as sharing my own personal experiences.
